What is the file size limit for UK visa uploads?
GOV.UK doesn’t publish one. Uploadable uses 6 MB as a safe size, and you can change it if your application service gives you another limit. Files can be PDF, JPG or PNG.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Uploadable works inside your browser tab. Your documents are read and saved on your device and are never sent to a server. It remembers only your light or dark choice and the last destination you picked.
Will my statements still be easy to read?
Yes. If your documents already fit, they’re kept exactly as they are. If not, Uploadable shrinks images first, then makes crisp black and white pages at 200 dpi or sharper, with the text kept searchable. If that still can’t fit, it offers to split the file into parts instead of making it blurry.
Can I add iPhone photos?
Yes. JPG and PNG photos work in every browser. iPhone photos saved as HEIC open in Safari. In other browsers, set your iPhone camera to Most Compatible, or share the photo as a JPG.
Can it change the amounts on my statements?
No. Uploadable never edits text or amounts. It can only put files in order, remove whole pages and make files smaller.
Is Uploadable connected to IRCC, Home Affairs or UK Visas and Immigration?
